Connor Pain joined Woodville at the beginning of 2003. Connor, the 385th player in Woodville history began his career in the Autumn 2003 season with the Under 10 Woodville Magic. Connor made his debut in Grading 1 of Autumn 2003, not scoring in the Magic's 0-52 defeat. During his first season, Connor proceded to score 16 points in 20 games, at an average of 0.80ppg with a game high of 6pts coming in Round 5's 27-5 win for the Magic.
Connor's highest points total in a season came in Winter 2011, playing with the Wave in Under 18/20 Division 4, Connor scored 202 points from 19 games at an average of 10.6ppg. Over his career, Connor has a career high of 22pts, coming in Round 5 of Winter 2010, with the Under 16 Wave recording a 37-27 victory over Flames Volcanoes. Throughout his career, Connor has scored 10 or more points in a game on 49 occasions, and 4 games of 20+points.

In 16 finals games, Connor has scored 49 points. Connor has scored 27 points in his 5 Grand Final appearances.

Connor's 50th career game was played in the 1st Semi Final of Autumn 2004. Playing for the U10 Comets, who lost the 1st Semi Final 7-25. Connor played game number 100 in 2005. As a member of the Under 12 Wave, in Round 14 of the Spring 2005 season, Connor scored 6pts in a 22-41 defeat.
The 150th game of Connor's career arrived in Round 11 of the Autumn 2007 season. The Under 14 Wave winning 34-16 with Connor top scoring with 12pts. Membership in the 200 Game club arrived on October 11th, 2008, which was Round 5 of the Summer 2008/09 season. A quirk of the draw had Connor record game number 200 on a bye, Connor scoring 6pts in Game 199 and Connor scoring 1pt in Game 201. Connor played his 250th game on Saturday, May 8th, 2010. Connor scored a team high 13pts as the Wave defeated Iramoo Demons 38-31.

Connor's 500th career point was scored in the 1st Semi Final of the Summer 2008/09 season. Connor scoring 2pts for the Wave as the Wave would finish 4th with a 25-44 defeat to the Woodville Sharks in this game. 1000 career points arrived in Grading 3 of the Winter 2011 season. Connor scoring 13pts for the Wave as the Wave played out a 32-35 game against Flames. Connor is the 48th player to reach 1000 career points.

Connor's 5 Grand Finals have arrived in Autumn 2003, with the Under 10 Magic coming Runner up with a 9-10 loss. Connor's first Premiership would occur in Spring 2004's 28-27 Woodville Comets win, Connor contributing 4pts. In Spring 2007, the Wave would come Runner Up in Under 14 Division 4 to the Woodville Sharks 34-40, with Connor scoring 6pts, but Connor and the Wave would bounce back in Autumn 2008 with a Premiership victory over Flames, winning 45-40 in Under 14 Division 3, with Connor scoring 4pts in his 2nd Premiership victory. In Winter 2011, Connor would score 13pts in the Grand Final as the Under 18/20 Division 4 Wave came Runner Up to Cambridge Canines 36-60.

Over Connor's career, which is still currently active with the Under 18/20 Wave, a career now spanning 8 years, Connor has played for 4 WOODVILLE teams. He has played for the MAGIC, SONICS, COMETS and WAVE, ranging in age groups from under 10's through to under 16's. Connor has played in five grand finals, coming in Autumn 2003, Spring 2004, Spring 2007, Autumn 2008 and Winter 2011. Connor has played in two Premierships, coming in Spring 2004 and Autumn 2008.
Now in his 18th season, Connor is heading into the upper echelon of games record holders for the Woodville Basketball Club.
