Haydn Galea joined Woodville at the beginning of 2006. Haydn, the 589th player in Woodville history began his career in the Autumn 2006 season with the Under 10 Woodville Wonders. Haydn made his debut in Grading 1 of Autumn 2006, scoring 4pts in the Wonders' 20-2 win.

Haydn scored his 1000th career point on Saturday, July 31st, 2010, in Round 13 of the Winter 2010 season, his 173rd career game. The Woodville Comets won 29-21 with Haydn scoring 7pts, his 3rd being his 1000th.
On Saturday, May 7th, 2011, Haydn became the 51st player to reach the 200 Game milestone. In Grading 2, of the Winter 2011 season, Haydn scored 10pts as the Comets were defeated 34-37 by Hoppers Ballers.
Haydn was a member of the Woodville Sharks 2008 and 2009 Great Western Tournament teams. In 2008, Haydn would contribute 41pts in 6 games as the Sharks came Runners Up to Salvos Saints 30-31.
In 2009, Haydn would again be prolific in scoring by rattling off 28pts in 5 games as the Sharks would finish semi finalists in 2009.
Haydn also took part in the Inaugural 2009 Greater Geelong Tournament in July 2009 with the Under 14 Woodville Comets, scoring 25pts in 4 tournament games.
Haydn returned to the Sharks for the 2011 Great Western Tournament. The Under 16 Sharks would record a 5-0 result and win the 2011 Tournament with a 48-40 win over Point Cook Allstars in the Grand Final.
Haydn scored 1pt in the Grand Final and returned 21pts from 5 Games as he and the Sharks won their first Tournament and Woodville's 4th Tournament title.
Over Haydn's career, which is still currently active with the Under 16 Comets, a career now spanning 5 years, Haydn has played for 9 WOODVILLE teams. He has played for the WONDERS, XPLOSION, COMETS, ENERGY, HEAT, RAPTORS, ROCKETS, DRAGONS and SHARKS, ranging in age groups from
under 10's through to under 18/20's. Haydn has played in two grand finals, coming in Autumn 2007 and Summer 2008/09.
Now in his 18th season, Haydn has scored more than 100 points in a season on 5 occasions.
