(Type a title for your page here) In February 2004, James O'Shannessy debuted for the Woodville Basketball Club, becoming player number 456, and since that debut, James has gone on to become a 200 game player and is on the verge of 1000 career points. James made his debut with WOODVILLE in Grading 1 of the Autumn 2004 season with the Under 16 Spectres. James did not score in a 10-48 defeat. James first career points came in Round 9 of the Autumn 2005 season, his 13th career game, with James scoring 4 points in a 9-61 defeat for the Spectres. James would go on to score 9 points from 19 games at an average of 0.5 points per game through his debut season. James completed his first year, with a record of 35 games and 41 points.

James recorded his 500th career point in Grading 3 of the Autumn 2007 season, with James scoring 5 points in a 30-38 loss for the Under 18/20 Divison 3 Rimrockers. James highest points total in a season came in Autumn 2008, playing with the Sonics in Under 18/20 Division 3, James scored 141 points from 20 games at an average of 7.05ppg. Over his career, James has scored 10 or more points in a game on 24 occasions with a career high of 16 points scored in 2008.

James scored 3pts in the 44-34 Premiership victory over Flames Firestorms.
